What to include when you get in touch
The more we know at the start, the more useful our first reply will be. Begin with the basics: the address or neighbourhood, the type of property and which rooms or exterior surfaces you want painted. A note such as three bedrooms, the upstairs hall and all the baseboards tells us far more than a request to paint the house. Mention ceilings, closets and doors too, since they are easy to forget.
Photos help a great deal. Take one wide shot of each room from the doorway and a close-up of anything unusual: peeling paint, water stains, cracked plaster, wallpaper, dark existing colours or very high ceilings. For outside work, photograph each side of the house along with the trim, porch or deck you want included. Daylight makes the condition of a surface much easier to judge from a picture.
Measurements are optional but welcome. Approximate room sizes and ceiling heights let us prepare a closer photo quote, and for exteriors the number of storeys matters most. Finally, tell us your timing: a firm deadline such as a move-in date or a listing, or a looser window when any start date will do. Knowing that from the beginning lets us plan the calendar honestly instead of promising a date we cannot keep.

Quick checklist
Details that help us reply with a clear answer
You do not need every item below to send a request, but each one saves a follow-up question. Copy this list into the message field or your email if it helps you organize your thoughts.
Anything we still need to know, we will simply ask when we reply.
- Your address, or at least the neighbourhood and nearest major intersection
- Property type: house, condo suite, townhouse or commercial unit
- Rooms and surfaces: walls, ceilings, trim, doors, cabinets, stairs or siding
- Photos of each area, plus close-ups of damage or stains
- Rough measurements and ceiling heights, if you have them
- Colour ideas, or a note that you would like a consultation
- Your timing, any deadline and building rules we should know
After you send it
What happens next
Here is the path from your first message to the first day of painting. Every step is free until you approve a written quote.
We reply and ask questions
We read your request, look at any photos and reply by phone or email. If something is unclear, such as which ceilings are included or whether the trim changes colour, we ask before going further.
A visit or a photo quote
For most projects we book a visit to see the surfaces and measure. For small, simple jobs, the photos and measurements you send may be enough to quote without anyone coming out.
Your itemized written quote
The quote arrives in writing and splits the job into rooms or areas, with the prep and coats listed for each. Nothing is bundled into one vague figure, so comparing it with other quotes is straightforward.
Colours and scheduling
Once you approve the quote, we book a free colour consultation if you want one and agree on a start date that works for you. Commercial and condo jobs are planned around access rules.
You know who is coming
Before work starts, we confirm the details and you know who is coming. On the first morning the painters review the plan with you, and floors and furniture are covered before any can is opened.

Visits and photo quotes
Choosing between a site visit and a photo quote
A site visit is the right choice when the job is large, the surfaces are in mixed condition or the exterior needs a close look. Seeing the walls in person lets us spot hairline cracks, flaking paint, moisture marks and old repairs that a photo can hide. It also gives you a chance to ask questions face to face and to talk through colour and sheen choices while standing in the room itself.
A photo quote works well for a single room, a feature wall, a front door or a small touch-up. Send clear daylight photos and rough measurements, and we can often price the work without a visit. If the pictures leave something uncertain, we will tell you so and suggest a quick look in person rather than guess. Both options are free, and neither one commits you to booking anything.
Visits are arranged within our hours, Monday to Sunday between 7 am and 11 pm. Someone needs to be home or on site to let us in, and it helps if furniture is not pushed against the walls you want checked. If you would like a rough idea of your budget first, the painting cost calculator offers a ballpark range to start from before we meet.

Business and condo requests
Requests for condos, offices and shops
Condo and commercial projects need a little more planning. Telling us about access and timing in your first message lets us schedule the work properly from the start.
Evening and weekend work
Commercial jobs can run in the evening or on weekends, leaving offices, stores and clinics open through the day. Mention your business hours and any rooms that must stay usable, and we will plan the sequence around them.
Condo building rules
Most condo corporations set rules for contractors: elevator bookings, work hours, parking, corridor protection and notice to management. Send us those rules or the manager's name and number, and we will build them into the schedule.
Common areas and turnovers
Property managers and boards can ask about hallways, lobbies, stairwells and suites between tenants. We quote each area separately, so the work can be approved and scheduled in phases if budget or occupancy calls for it.
Odour and disruption
In shared buildings and occupied workplaces, smell and noise matter. You can choose zero‑VOC or low-odour paint, and each work area is swept and cleared before the shift ends, so staff or neighbours come back to a tidy space.
Name your site contact
Tell us who will approve the quote and who will let us in each day, if they are different people. For businesses, a site contact who can arrange keys or alarm codes makes evening and weekend work run smoothly.
Paperwork for your records
Every commercial and condo quote is written and itemized, which makes it easy to share with a board, an owner or an accounts department before approval. If the quote should be addressed to a company, include its legal name.

Hours and service area
When and where to reach us
You will find us at 18 King St E, Suite 1400, Toronto, ON M5E 1L4, and we are open from 7 am until 11 pm, Monday to Sunday. You can call (416) 710‑4224 during those hours, or email [email protected] whenever it suits you and we will pick it up when the office opens. The form on this page reaches our office inbox as well. Please include a phone number if you would prefer a call back to an email reply.
Our painters work throughout the City of Toronto as well as the Peel, York, Halton and Durham regions. That covers downtown condos, older houses in the east end and the west end, and suburban houses and businesses from Oakville and Mississauga to Vaughan, Markham and Oshawa. If you are not sure whether your address falls inside our area, ask in your message and we will tell you plainly.
Quotes, visits and colour consultations are all free, and there is no pressure to book. You are welcome to get in touch well before you plan to paint, simply to understand your options and budget. If your question is not about a specific job, our FAQ page covers quotes, preparation, paint and scheduling in more depth, and you can still call us afterwards.
How do I request a free quote?
Phone (416) 710-4224, send an email to [email protected], or use the form on this page. Tell us the address, which rooms or surfaces need painting and your timing, and attach photos if you have them. We reply with any questions, then arrange a visit or prepare a photo quote. The written, itemized quote is free and there is no obligation to go ahead.
Can I send photos instead of booking a visit?
Yes, for smaller jobs. A single room, a door or a feature wall can often be quoted from clear photos and rough measurements. Take a wide shot from the doorway and close-ups of any damage. For whole homes, exteriors and anything with uncertain surfaces, we normally recommend a visit so the quote reflects what is really there.
What are your hours?
We are open from 7 am to 11 pm, Monday to Sunday, and phone calls are answered during that time. Emails and form messages can be sent at any time and are read when the office is open. Site visits for quotes are booked within the same hours, while commercial painting itself can be scheduled for evenings and weekends.
Do you work outside the City of Toronto?
Yes. Along with the City of Toronto, we paint in Peel, York, Halton and Durham regions, including Mississauga, Brampton, Vaughan, Markham, Richmond Hill, Oakville, Burlington, Pickering, Ajax, Whitby and Oshawa. Free quotes are available throughout this area. If your town is not named here, send your address and we will let you know.
Can you paint our office or store after hours?
Yes. We take on commercial painting in the evenings and on weekends so your business keeps running. When you contact us, include your opening hours, the areas involved and any security or access details. We plan the work in sections where needed and clean each area before your staff and customers return.
What do you need to know for a condo job?
Send the unit's address, the rooms involved and a copy of your building's contractor rules if you have one. Elevator bookings, permitted hours, parking for the painters and notice to the property manager all affect the schedule. Knowing them early lets us plan a start date the building will accept and avoids delays on the first morning.
