These terms apply to your use of this website and to painting services provided by All Painting (“we”, “us”, “our”). Please read them. If you do not agree with them, please do not use this website or engage us for work.

1. About our services

We provide interior, exterior, residential and commercial painting and related services in Toronto and the Greater Toronto Area, including cabinet painting, staining, wallpaper work and drywall repairs. The services actually provided on any job are the ones set out in the written quote or contract you accept, and nothing on this website adds to or changes that document.

2. Quotes and estimates

Any price, figure or timeline given on this website, including the ranges shown by the painting cost calculator, or given by phone, text or email, is an estimate for discussion only. It is not an offer capable of acceptance and it does not bind either of us.

A quote becomes binding only when we issue it in writing and you accept it in the way set out on the quote. How long a quote stays valid is stated on the quote itself.

3. Surface conditions and changes to the work

Painting work sometimes uncovers conditions that could not be seen during the assessment, such as water damage, rot, loose plaster, failing previous coatings or damage behind wallpaper. Where that happens, we will tell you before going further and agree any additional work and its cost with you in writing. Additional work is not carried out until you approve it.

4. Colours, sheens and products

You choose the colours and sheens for your job, and we confirm them in writing before painting starts. Colours on screens, including in the colour visualizer on this site, and on printed chips can look different from paint on your walls, so we recommend checking sample pots in the room. Changes to colours or products after work has started may change the price and the schedule.

5. Access and preparing the space

By engaging us, you confirm that you own the property or are authorized to have the work done, and you agree to give our crew safe access to the work areas for the duration of the job, including water and power where needed.

You agree to:

• remove or protect valuables, wall art and fragile items in and near the work areas;
• tell us in advance about anything we should know, such as alarms, pets, allergies, building or condo rules, and known damage; and
• keep people and pets clear of the work areas while work is under way.

We move and cover furniture and protect floors as part of the job, as described in your quote.

6. Scheduling and weather

Start and completion dates are estimates. Exterior work depends on the weather and may be delayed by rain, cold, heat or humidity. We will keep you informed of any change. We are not liable for losses caused by delays outside our reasonable control.

7. Payment terms

The payment terms that apply to your job are the ones stated on your accepted quote or contract. Applicable taxes, including HST, are added to all amounts.

8. Warranty

Where a warranty applies to your job, its terms, length and coverage are the ones stated in writing on your quote, contract or invoice. Nothing on this website creates, extends or adds to a warranty.

9. Cancellation

Cancellation rights and any cancellation charges are set out in your accepted quote or contract. Where the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) applies to your agreement, your rights under that Act apply in addition and are not limited by these terms.

10. Use of this website

The content of this website, including text, photographs and logos, belongs to All Painting or is used with permission. You may view and print pages for your own use in considering our services. You may not copy, republish or use our content for another business without our written permission.

The information on this site is general information about painting. It is not advice about your particular home or building and it does not replace an assessment. Customer reviews shown on the site are published by their authors on Google and reflect their own views.

We try to keep the site accurate and available, but we do not promise that it will always be available, error free or up to date.

11. Limitation of liability

Nothing in these terms limits any liability that cannot be limited under Ontario law, and nothing in them limits your rights under the Consumer Protection Act, 2002 (Ontario) where it applies. The information on this website is provided for general information only.

12. Privacy

Personal information you give us is handled in accordance with our Privacy Policy.

13. Changes to these terms

We may update these terms from time to time. The version in force is the one posted on this page. The terms that apply to a job are the ones in force when you accepted your quote or contract.

14. Governing law

These terms, this website and any work we carry out are governed by the laws of the Province of Ontario and the federal laws of Canada that apply in Ontario. The courts of Ontario have jurisdiction over any dispute, subject to any consumer protection rights you have by law.
